I'm thinking he means as Gotham's accepted defender. Though, I believe Batman has always been the hero that isn't really wanted until Gotham really needs him (and then forgets how awesome him is).

One does not simply forget how awesome Batman is.

Well it seems that way in Chris Nolan's Batman universe. The GCPD have him "wanted" throughout the first two movies and the majority of Gotham citizens seem to take him for granted.

          Anyways, here's the production notes - http://thedarkknightrises.warnerbros...ctionNotes.pdf

          Good read

This movie may very well be the first IMAX experience for me.

Saw the last one at an IMAX. Aside from the wait, it was worth it.

If The Dark Knight was any indication, Rises should more than blow you away in IMAX.

                    Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I've stopped watching any more footage awhile ago, but there was a trailer I've never seen attached to Spider-Man.

I think the trailers for this are the only movie trailers ever that actually raise my heart rate.

Same. Just saw The Amazing Spider-Man, and I wanted to close my eyes, tilt my head down, plug my ears, and sing the la-la-la's away when I noticed there was a new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises playing that I hadn't seen. I guess it was probably the Nokia trailer that was posted earlier.

I won't see any more new footage by choice though, including the one posted above.

Judging by the trailer I just saw, this movie looks to have a **** ton of action. I know it will make for an awesome cinematic experience, but I hope it is also the best route they could've taken as well, as far as the overall story is concerned.

I'm with you guys, I've gone on a media blackout after the 4 TV spots aired.

I mean, I'm already sold on the movie. I've got my tickets paid for. Anything else is just spoilers at this point.

Local Regal Theater is doing a Dark Knight Marathon for $25 on the 19th. You also get a free small popcorn.

Not a bad idea....all 3 movies on the big screen for $8.

The marathon is cool and all, but damn that is a long time to sit in a movie theater. That's the only thing that kept me from going.

Yeah, I'd rather just re-watch the first two movies at home.
