It was a lot more actiony, but that the end of Batman Begins is really the worst part of the film. The end with the Joker is amazing, though. I think there was a definite intention on some kind of continuation with the character in the third movie. Sure, it wasn't "memorable", but it had the feel of a typical end to a Batman and Joker saga. By the end of it all parties are just tired enough to be happy its over, but miss it enough to look forward to more.

I felt the lighthearted way the Scarecrow was used in the 2 sequals took away some of his effectiveness when you rewatch Batman Begins.Comment

And really that's probably my biggest issue with the trilogy as a whole. They all had a similar climax with Ra's and the microwave emitter, Joker and the boats, and Bane and the power core thing (forgetting the name of it at the moment).
As for the final scene between Batman and The Joker in TDK, it did fall flat in terms of a "final battle", but it made sense because The Joker isn't a fighter. And his speech afterwards more than made up for that.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I disagree because ultimately this trilogy was about Bruce Wayne not only becoming Batman, but dedicating himself to it 100%. In Batman Begins Bats is still learning the ropes. It would make sense for him to best Scarecrow more easily now considering Batman is more experienced and better equipped. I enjoyed the way they included him in TDKR (though it was fairly unnecessary and Cilian was phoning it in big time), but feel like that role would have been perfect for The Joker (especially considering the Animated Series has done that already).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Either way, I'm sure if Heath was still living the story for TDKR would be quite different.

Yes, I think the story would have played out differently as well.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
No bonus scenes on home video release.
However, that being said, the original first draft could have been that long, if not maybe even four hours long. That wasn't what was shot on film, though.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I saw The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 today. It's an awesome Batman Movie. I highly recommended for anyone who read the book or is just a Batman fan. I will admit though, getting used to Batman's new voice takes a couple minutesComment
