“One of my sources mentioned the possibility of an appearance of [an aerial Bat-Vehicle]. The more I thought about it, the more sense it made with the planned shooting locations. Could be interesting!“

From visiting with all the great guys behind the F/X and production design of the last two films, I know they had A LOT of ideas for future Bat-Modes of Transportation -- though they never would share them with me! Good guys all. (Oh yeah, let me take a minute to send out a congrats to my friends Chris Corbould, Paul Franklin and their F/X team for their Visual Effects Oscar for INCEPTION!) Anyway…

A.P. also says that there will be -- as we all knew -- a new Batmobile. I’ve got no idea if it’s going to be a “new” Tumbler or a totally redesigned “black…TANK!”

My thoughts on above spoiler:

Meh on the first part. I mean it is part of Batman's set of gadgets/vehicles, but IDK if I want to see it in this particular movie.

And the second part of the spoiler is a given. Can't wait to see a new Batmobile. I'm hoping they go for something somewhat similar to the Burton/TAS cartoon Batmobile. That was always my favorite design and I'd definitely prefer to see them go to something sleeker and "un-tank-like", as badass as the Tumbler/tank was.

This series has worked because Nolan has gone for hyper-realism so far as you can in a superhero movie. Sure, you have to suspend your disbelief a little given the plot points but it's not like he's taken Chicago and morphed it into an over the top stylized caricature of itself like in the cartoons and Burton movies. Everything tends to have a purpose or some sort of plausible backstory and I don't see how driving some weird gothic wangmobile 80s relic with fins works.

I didn't mean that one exactly. I was just using it as an example for something that's at least a little more slimmer/sleeker than the Tumbler was. I highly doubt they're going to give Batman a new Batmobile that was as attention-grabbing as the Tumbler considering it was a giant tank.

Something like this is what I expect, especially because when you look at the past 2 movies, it's clear Bruce loves his Lambos:

Actually, I think it would be cool if we saw it evolve into the Batmobile. Since Batman is being hunted, I think it would be likely that Bruce Wayne is going to do some detective work. Initially I imagine a seemingly regular Lambo on the outside, but on the inside have all of Bat's necessary essentials for situations.

Oh, no that was what I meant. I fully expect a true Batmobile and Batcave in TDKR, I just meant I don't think they're going to give him a Batmobile that's similar to the Tumbler, which was a big *** tank.

Blah on the first part but a new batmobile was a given. I'm hoping for something a lot less conspicuous. I'd like to see the batmobile be a bit sleeker in the vein of a sports car but with added security/protection so it'll be a bit bulkier but not lose the sporty look to it.

Yeah i would like to see more of a sporty batmobile something built for high speed and handling,but the tumbler had that intimidation factor that was true to the batman. When is filming scheduled to start?

Could be how Gary Oldman is hyping up this movie:

"I think it's a villain from one of the old, old, from way back from the old comics. It is a Batman villian...t's not going to be The Joker. If I told you who the villain was, they'd kill me!" I know the story...I just think it's going to be terrific."

Where are those quotes from? Oldman was on Conan, so maybe Blzer was referring to something he said last night?
