As much as the Joker was an awesome sight to see, I think the Batman nerd in me might be more happy with this one because we get to see:

A hot Catwoman, Bane (one of my all-time favorites), a real/fancy Batcave, a new Batmobile, Commissioner Gordon for a full movie...

I didn't know if they'd be able to top TDK, but I really think they've put the pieces together and if they can execute it, it's going to be an awesome movie.

Yeah this movie has the potential to be as good as TDK which I can't say about many movies. So much cool stuff they could potentially show in this one.

Just read the Knightfall storyline, as much as a great villain the joker is...he was never a threat to kill batman.

Matthew Modine? Great. I pray its a minor role ala Anthony Michael Hall's. For some reason I can't stand that guy. Maybe he was too good in his role on Weeds.

Apparently Modine's role is reported to be, surprisingly, "key." While "major" is a stretch, he will apparently play a "politician and key villain" in the movie and is currently filming some very important scenes.

And another spoiler, this one is actually about something specific (again, may be big in some people's eyes):

-Alfred ends up as a patient in Gotham City Hospital at some point in the movie. (link)

Every spoiler I read makes me more excited for this movie. The different ways they could have Alfred get injured, whether it's a natural thing or he's the victim of an attack as a way to show that someone knows Bruce Wayne is Batman kind of thing....the emotional attachment that comes along with such an injury is awesome. Plus, it fits in with Nolan's "dark take" on the Batman universe as I can imagine Bruce/Batman being rather affected by Alfred winding up hurt.

Just so people know, Batman-on-Film (whom I trust more than anyone about Batman news) is still saying that the "viral marketing" campaign is not official.

FYI: What appears to be viral marketing of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES involving a few videos, is not official...

While they've been wrong before, I'll wait until some official word comes out to even watch the videos.
