Any major difference between these TVs?

The Vizio thing turned out to be a bust so I need TV help again

Other than the obvious screen size is one any better than the other?

I see small stuff like 5 ms instead of 4 in favor of the Aquos but the cheaper Samsung has better contrast ratio. I'm not seeing a $300 difference outside of size.

I prefer the Samsung over the Sharp by a long shot. However, that Samsung has pretty crappy speakers in it. The LN40A530, which is a step below it, has MUCH better speakers; plus sitting side by side, the 530 and 550 have VERY similar picture quality.

I'd go Samsung for sure... Got a nice 52" sitting in the living room... FANTASTIC.

What happened with the Vizio though dude? I have one in the bedroom that works/looks great.

I'd go Samsung...I was either gonna get the Samsung 40A650 or Sony KDL40W4100 and went with the Sony, top 2 tv makers in the biz.

According to the bottom of the page that is the 530 but with a USB port. There's a 50" one that's a 530 but it's $2000 and they don't have it here.

Vizio I was going to get sold out and they haven't gotten more. Now the only one there is $1200. I know that Samsung says it's only on sale for one day but it said that last week and 2 weeks ago too so it seems more like one day a week.

I have the 46 inch model...awesome set. No lag for gaming. Wish I got the 52 inch one.

Futureshop is really my only shopping choice,they don't have that one,there's a 750 and 850. There's Wal-Mart too but they're not very good in that department here. Also trying to not go over $1500.

I didn't notice they dont carry the 530. In that case, I would jump on the 550 for $999.

The 40 inch Samsung 650 on Amazon is about $1300. No delivery charge.

I live in Canada. amazon.ca appears to not sell TVs and I don't even want to know how much the shipping (assuming the free is only for the US) or border/customs cost would be on that,if they even ship to Canada. Looking it up they do and they charge an import fee.

I also pay for everything in cash. (Other than on PSN where I use a realtives credit card and give them the money later)
