Anyone still able to update AVG 7.5?
I've gone back and forth. AVAST didn't work out for me. Now AVG 8.0 is not autoupdating on a regular basis on both our XP and VISTA rigs.

Re: Anyone still able to update AVG 7.5?
Guess not. Well, screw it. AVG 8.0 was not an upgrade imo. Both it and AVAST suck up more cpu resources than anything else running and you can't shut down AVG 8.0, only the tray monitor. Went back to PCTools AV. Kim Komando said I should! -
Re: Anyone still able to update AVG 7.5?
I think they tweaked the PCTools one. Before when I had the free version installed, it would give me a message that my virus protection was only "limited" and on reboot it would never automatically be "on" nor would it come back on when just restarting the program. Now, all that is better.
Funny thing is that since I re-installed it, my EndItAll (ver 1) program shows that NO applications are running at all, which is impossible.Comment
