    PC dual-stick gamepad help

I have a dual-stick PS2-like gamepad for PC (it has both PS2 and USB connections). But when I connect it to the PC the right stick isn't functioning - well at least not like a stick. when I move the right stick it does what the buttons do (the circle, triangle etc. buttons). I went to "control panel" and tried to configure the game pad. there are 2 "+" signs each for each stick. The left one moves when I move the left stick, but the right one doesn't and wnenever I move the right stick I see it marks the buttons - as if I was pushing the buttons.
Doed anyone know how I can fix this?
    My Specs:

    ZX Spectrum
    CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
    GPU: Monochrome display
    RAM: 48 KB
    OS: Sinclair BASIC

    Re: PC dual-stick gamepad help

I found the answer: the idiot (me) didn't turn on the "analog" mode (red light is on). How stupid!
