Charlotte?......More Annoying than the smirk? Bugs Bunny? Hypocrite Jack? And worst of them all, that weasel Ben. Ben and the whole I'll have a gun put to my face every single episode and find a way out of it is getting very old an annoying.

I still don't understand why they aren't trying to track down Walt. Other members had permission to leave the island as well so it would seem that if everyone had to get back so would Walt.

Because Walt is "special" and doesn't fall under Locke's insane category of "you weren't suppose to leave"? LOL.

Charlotte was brutal IMO, I couldn't handle seeing her on my TV. It is nice to see that you find just about every main character in the show annoying though!

The only thing I remember about the temple was at the end of Season 3 (I think) Ben tells Richard to lead everyone to the temple and wait for him. Still, that was bad *** last night!

How Rousseau knew that her boyfriend/husband wasn't the same guy as the one who went into the pit, whether it was just a copy from smoky, the man himself, or what. I also didn't check that of the two guys who she had already killed, if the one had a missing arm. Maybe that scene will be key in explaining how Christian appears, Hurley's friend Dave, Yemi, and even Walt "exist" on the island.

Also, did anyone catch in the preview for next week Eloise mentioning "windows"? I assume it's a time window (have to get there during this specific timeframe), but if anyone has read 'His Dark Materials', those novels describe physical windows that connect worlds, kind of a parallel universe theory. For example, London exists in the same space and size in both worlds, but one might have modern tech while the other is stuck in the 50's.

Great, great episode, and I can't wait until next week...and most importantly, when I can sit down at the end of 2010 and watch the whole series start to finish.

At the beginning of the season we see Faraday back in the 1950's. A thought occurred to me last night that I wonder if anyone else thinks might happen. What if Faraday goes back in time to do something to whatever is behind that wall they were drilling in to and thus preventing everything that has happened in the series from ever actually happening.

I had a similar thought. I honestly think they will revisit this during the season finale and this entire season will circle back to that first episode.

So we know Faraday has been on the island. Here's the thing I question:

OK when they travel through time, the travelers are at a point of "When". So like Sawyer seeing Kate and Claire, they were just there at that point, but even had Sawyer gone postal and went on a shooting spree and mowed Kate down, she would still be in Los Angeles current day because you can't Alter the future. At least this is what I understand.

So now we learn about Faraday. He appears to have been traveling in time back to the island on numerous occassions. We know he was there in the eary 80's when Dharma first discovered the wheel. He was in the underground tunnel. Now we hear Claire saying that she spoke to Faraday when she was a young girl and he told her not to return to the island. So what that means is that Faraday can somehow alter the consciousness of people he meets on the island as he did with Desmond by telling him to go see his mother.

Its awful strange, but I have a feeling that Faraday is doing something to peoples minds back at his lab. I'm not so sure he's really traveling time in a physical sense. I can't quite explan my theory, but either way, Faraday isn't just traveling to the "When" like Sawyer is in the above explanation, Faraday can travel to the "When" and alter the future through conversations he has with people.

To add to that...I think he is Jacob, and the reason no one can see him is because he started messing with his OWN brain in order to get things the way he wanted. Hence why "Jacob" asked Locke to "help me" in a crazy weird voice.

But he isn't exactly good at it, obviously. Charlotte didn't listen to him, and he destroyed that other girl's mind.

The Losties on the Island were still three years behind where the o6 were. If I'm correct Locke fixed the time jumps and they should be stable but still back those three years, at least until they start telling whats wrong on the island those three years between what was happening and the O6 getting back sometime three years later. It'll probably belike Damages where the two stories eventually catch up with each other towards the end of the season.

It appears that the Losties aren't the only ones experiencing the time jump.

I originally made a comment stating that the other people (Ethan, Others, Charles Widmore, etc.) wouldn't remember that they met John Locke because it's not part of real time. It's just Locke traveling through. But, I was wrong.

When Danielle told Jin that he disappeared, it confirmed my mistake. How this works in relation to past events, I'm not sure. Does Ethan know Locke when he sees him in the wreckage in Season One? I can't say anymore. And it does indeed offer exhibit A as to why time travel can never be done right.

He may have sinked up the times, but the times he sinked up weren't between where the island is now and where the O6 are right now heading into the church. Locke came through a few days at least before the point they are at now. It shouldn't matter, but just saying that Even if the island and the rest of the world are sinked up now, The last thing we saw on the island, Sawyer holding the rope, is still days before what we are seeing play out at the church.

Thats an excellent point. The Sawyer example I keep referring to when he saw Kate made it seem like the Losties were more "observers" of the past, they could actively participate, but in the end, 2007 would be the exact same regardless of what they did then. But you are right, Danielle's example shows the she was cognisant of what had happened in the past(Jin's disappearence). If Jin was just traveling to a "When" point, each time, Danielle wouldn't have any recollection.

I will say though that I would be interested to view all the interaction's between the flashes. And see the chronolgy of them all. It would seem that if you visited someone at point X in the past and then visited them at X -1, they would have no recollection of you. If you visted them at X+1, the rules now state that they will have recollection of both visits.

So lets take Widmore for example, Present Day Widmore must now now he saw people from the future. Just Like Alpert knew how to visit Locke. If this is the case, Desmond may not be "special", but Faraday may have been telling him all these things at point X and when it hit X +1 , Desmond was having some crazy cases of Deja Vu. The same way Hurley knew to use the numbers, He heard them at X and used them at X +1.

Problem with that though is that if point X is today. You have 2 separate paths leading up to this point. The natural course of what happened and the alternate course that you had when the Losties or Faraday jumped into at some point in the past. Thats where the time travel begins to crumble.

I wonder what happened to the French expedition team underground? From reading past recaps, the smoke monster tried bringing Locke to the same hole as well but Locke got away.

The hieroglyphs ruin is confusing as well. If the arm was still there on the ground, does that mean that a short amount of time passed from when that happened to where Jin flashed forward too?

So this ruin is built right next to this chopped off limb and it is not noticed? It's like the ruin was just dropped down in a spot. Also it would have been built awfully quickly. Maybe I am making too much of that, just odd.

I wonder how Hurley, Kate, and Sayid get talked back into going.

One blurb, call me crazy, but Rousseau's comment doesn't mess up the continuity. Jin could have easily ducked into the forest when smoky was hauling Montand down...so her comment of "you disappeared" might have just explained that possibility. I don't think it ****s with the continuity.

If Sawyer had shot Kate she would have died in the "off-island present". My BIG question is did Rousseau ever say a single line to Jin and/or Sun before...and what was it? She has to know OF Jin in the present before she was killed, so what was her reaction?

As for the Survivors on the island, it's simply a matter of three years passing from WHEN they were (the rope into the ground) until when they see the Oceanic six. Since the island moved from what, 2005/2006 plus three for the off-island folks, when they return, the island can theoretically be in whatever time it was in when Locke moved the wheel, right? So three years (or decades) plus (since they've been gone off island) could create some major WTF moments when the return! Sure Sun will see Jin, and Jin will know that they are married, but everything else might be a cluster ****.

Yeah...I lost my train of thought...sorry. The show rocks regardless, and I can't wait to watch the whole damn thing in Winter 2010.
