Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
next week episode is "The life and death of jeremy bentham" so I would assume its a flashback to connect locke turning the wheel and dying, so Im not sure he will show up on the island "alive"Is that my cousin? Maebe?...Great show.
Man this episode was a roller coaster. Outside of being mildly disapointed with the explanation of the island I thought alot happened this episode. I was literally screaming at jack to open the letter, and screaming at the O6 to ask Ben why he was in a sling and beat up.
Also with next week's preview (spoilers for anyone who didn't catch it)
SpoilerWas anyone surprised that they showed john Locke alive and well back on the Island after the O6 returned? I mean I sort of assumed he wouldn't remain dead once they got back but still, to show it in the preview for next week was kind of odd. Did I just interpret the preview wrong or what?Comment

Well we don't know if he is back, we only know Jack, Hurley and Kate are back. Who knows, maybe Ben is chilling in Guam, hehe."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Unless they already knew what had happened to Ben. That's the only explanation I can think of.Comment

Trying to get this show right in my mind. Do you guys think that when Desmond turned the key and blew the hatch that the survivors actually moved in time or could that have possbily moved the island? If they did move in time when do you think they went past or future? We know Desmond was involved in Time travel, but everyone else saw the flash of light as well. I am just trying to relate that to what is happening now. Another question, I know I have seen Hawkins a few times but the only one that jumps out is when Desmond was trying to buy the ring from her. What other episodes was she invovled in?I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me!

I thaught I saw that Hawking Lady in an episode with Walt when they took him away and had him locked up in a hut. But that seems like years ago now. I would like to know too if we've ever seen the older Hawking lady on the island.Trying to get this show right in my mind. I wonder now that the island has moved if Alpert has a way off of it.
The island used to be connected to other areas of the Earth through "Worm Holes". Tunisia was one place and I am sure some place cold was another. Remember they found a Polar Bear remains in Tunisia with a Dharma collar. Thats also where Ben ended up after he turned the wheel.
Ben put on a winter coat before he turned the wheel. Like just in case he ended up somewhere cold.
I wonder where Locke ended up when he turned the wheel.
Based on all those passports and outside connections that Ben has, he was freely traveling back and forth through these things all the time. I don't think he was using the sub or a boat to leave the island. So if Locke got back to LA by turning the wheel, I would think that there would be some open worm holes back to the island even though it has moved.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
That's the reason I'm not looking forward to next week's episode. I read somewhere that next week's episode was supposed to be aired before this week's episode, but the producer switched it because he thought it would be fun this way. And so I don't think any new developments will take place, we'll just learn why everything happened the way it did.
I don't really care how they all got back to the island, just that they're back there. I think they wasted way too much time getting them back to the island, and although this week's episode was good, they could have condensed it into half an episode and shown us on-island stuff. My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie HiComment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
Maybe, but Locke wasn't freezing in his sweaty T-shirt. On top of that, why would he have a winter jacket if it wasn't to travel because he lives on a tropical island. I doubt he called up LL Bean earlier that year and thought, this will be the year I go down in that cold cave and turn that wheel better order me a parka.

Locke also had a bone sticking out of his leg so I'm sure his body temperature wasn't his main concern.
I get what you're saying though, but if the Island moves as Hawking says it does then it may move to cold locations, who knows."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

If the only wormhole was to Tunisia, he wouldn't want to carry a bulky coat around him in the desert. Come to think of it, shouldn't Ben have post concussion syndrome by now. Seriously, its almost comical how many times he's been beaten to an inch of his life.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Eloise Hawking also appeared in a photo on the desk of Brother Campbell."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
