PC Monitors
I just wanted to get some feedback in regards to monitors for gaming. I am going to buy a new monitor for my pc. I would like to get a 24" monitor. I get conflicting reviews on the net about each model. The reviews aren't always written with gaming in mind. I thought I would ask my fellow gamers! I want one with HDMI so I can run my ps3 on it if I choose to. Should I only get one with a 2ms refresh or is a 5ms or 8ms fine? Most 24" monitors that I have looked at have been in the range of $349 to $469 range. Is the contrast ratio all that important? I read the ratings can be way misleading as its a hard thing to quantify. Any advice would be helpful. Anyone found any deals on monitors for black friday? Thanks in advance!Tags: None -
Re: PC Monitors
I've been searching for a bit and I haven't concluded on what i'm buying.
I think personally its a waste to pay 60-70 more to get a 24 from a 22, but thats just me, its actually a lot bigger difference in most cases. I found myself a 22, HDMI port, 2ms refresh, shipped for 189 versus the cheapest 24 that doesn't even have those good of specs for 299 now.
I think i'm going to be ordering a 22, which is sufficient for me, but the 24s are nice but just too much.
newegg.com is probably your best bet for searching though.
