had a problem and didn't know if anyone has experienced this...

i'm on the 1 movie plan (the $8.99 one)...i could not watch any movies as i was getting an error code which stated i could only watch them on one device at a time...my 360 was not on, nor was any other computer. my laptop wouldn't let me watch and i tried everything (except calling netflix).

anyway, i canceled my membership...i was going to when my free trial ended. but i did get a few episodes of Airwolf (season 1) in before doing so!!

I wonder if anyone actually watches that now except for TJ.

Anyone been having problems tonight?

I signed up to check it out and haven't been able to watch a single movie.. it just checks my bandwidth.. I see 4 bars and then goes right back to the movie queue screen.

i checked my account today as it was set to expire tomorrow (dec. 2) - i had planned to cancel it...i saw that my free trial was extended for another two weeks.

has anyone else noticed this? if not you might want to check and see what your account status is.

If any of you fellow nerd types haven't watched "King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters", go watch it. Really cool movie, and it's good even if you don't care at all about classic arcade tournaments, etc. (I didn't).

Great movie... although i would love nothing more than to beat that long hair, dbag of a nerd.

They left stuff out of the movie to make him appear much worse. While tying to find some info on what happened afterwards with the records I stumbled upon these articles questioning the facts,

"Before the Devil knows your Dead" is a good one. I never heard of it before searching through Netflix's measly "instant" section. Nice flick starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke.

The best part indeed. For you youngins out there who are Christian Bale fans or fans of outstanding movies....I recommend Empire of the Sun. If this movie was released in today's movie market, I believe it would be a blockbuster. They don't make them like they used to.

If you guys get a chance and are interested in this sort of thing, I highly recommend "Please Vote For Me". It's a documentary about the first democratic elections held in Chinese schools (to elect "Class Monitor", which is basically the kid that gets to bully everyone around like Mini-Mao). It's REALLY interesting and funny to watch these kids that don't understand the concept of democracy run for office and get advice from their typically-demanding Chinese parents, who offer everything from "be yourself, tell them that you'll listen to their needs and be fair" to "get the class to boo your opponent and make them look like a fool!" in an effort to get their kids elected.

Just really interesting stuff, and I was laughing my *** off at some of the kids antics and the way they phrase things (via subtitle) and how dirty democracy got on the first try.
