I watched Dead Space: Downfall last night. It is animated and looks pretty Cheesy but it does explain the Story behind Dead Space.

I really enjoyed "Transsiberian."

I also saw that "Half Nelson" is on there. Seen it before, but it is a great movie and well acted all around!

"21" is also a decent flick, but I'm sure many have already seen it.


On the sports front..."Gunnin for that #1 spot" was kind of interesting documentary. Focussed on some bball prospects preparing to play in a summer game at Rucker Park (Kevin Love, Tyreke Evans, Jerryd Bayless, Kyle Singler, Brandon Jennings, etc.)

A River Runs Through It.
One of the best dramas I've seen. I saw it the first time in a full movie theater and you could literally hear a pin drop when it ended.

Watch "The Orphanage"- Really fantastic horror/suspense film. Its also in HD and has gorgeous visuals and a great soundtrack. Guillermo del Toro produced the film and his influence really shows. The director is a relatively new Spanish director, Juan Antonio Bayona. I'd rank it right up there with The Others in this genre- Amenabar did a great job in that and its clear the Spaniards really have a stranglehold on the genre.

Any fans of horror films should watch this film.

Well, now I know what I'm doing this week- I wanted to get into Lost for a while and this is perfect. I'm taking off this month for school so this couldn't have come at a better time.

I used to have Netflix a few years back and just resubscribed tonight. Wow, being able to watch instantly from my 360 makes this service 50x better. I doubt I actually ever get dvds sent to my house. I'm watching a movie called Cleaner with Samuel L, Ed Norton, and Eva Mendes right now. Nothing special but it's keeping me entertainined so far.
