The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

I just saw a commercial for this during 24: Redemption, and I was already wowed. Starring Brad Pitt, directed by David Fincher (they teamed together for, to my knowledge, Fight Club and Se7en).

I haven't yet seen the two trailers, but I'm posting the links for them:

Watch trailers for movies and TV shows on tv.apple.com. Browse trailers for upcoming TV series and films.

From the commercial I saw, it looks like it is about a man who is born old and, in fact, de-ages (though he grows as time goes on, like all of us). Looked very good.

    Comes out Christmas day.

Absolutly cant wait for this movie, I was more pumped for this then the new Bond in all actuality. For some reason I see the trailer and I get that "Big Fish" vibe and I really liked that movie so hopefully it doesnt let me down.

Yea, I read about this a month ago in some holiday movie preview and it was the only one that really interested me.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Looks like Brad is making a bit of a comeback. He's one of my favorite actors, but he hasn't been in much that's interested me since Fight Club, but Burn After Reading was great, and I've been looking at this movie for about a year, and I really, really wanted to see The Assassination of Jesse James... but it never came out here (just added it to my Netflix list).

He's also got a few more movies in the making that look interesting.

Yeah, I've been intrigued by this movie for quite some time. When I see the trailer, part of me screams Joe Black (which I actually enjoyed), but another part is just curious about the whole story.

            Will definitely be seeing it.

Just got back from seeing, and I gotta say, this is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It did seem kinda long but overall a good movie I highly recommend seeing.

It's refreshing how unbelievably original this movie is. Hoping to see it soon.

Bucksfan07, how is the acting in the movie?

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I usually can not stand Brad Pitt, but he played his character amazingly good and overall the cast acting was exceptional. The story is so good that you pretty much want to pay attention to every second of the movie.

Excellent movie, original and very entertaining. I'm glad we saw this instead of Marley and me.
