I didn't think it was that funny overall, and the ending was pure torture. Less chemistry between Vince & Reece then there was between Vince & Jennifer (Aniston). The writing disqualified anybody from caring about the relatives (save Jon Voight & family), despite lame attempts to make them likable.

Just saw this movie. Very "meh" in almost every department. The sad thing is, this movie did drag, and it wasn't a second over 90 minutes.

Probably nitpicking here, but the boom operator needs to go back to training, or be fired. Mic placement was terrible in this movie.

And wow, Reese Witherspoon needs more work. She's a beautiful woman who needs more screen time than Hilary Swank and Renee Zellweger, at least while she still looks good. My boy VV, on the other hand, needs to lose a few.

Question: Do Witherspoon and Vaughn really not like each other in real life? I enjoyed the punch drunk love at the beginning, but at the end it felt like any grips they had in the movie were also becoming real as well. Either great acting or I don't know what, but they were rather "in your face" in a way. Kind of hard to explain.

I always enjoy Vince Vaughn's movies (Fred Clause aside) so I thought this was one decent and I enjoyed it. My wife liked it too so that's always a bonus since I was the one that suggested we see it. LOL Anyway, I did think it could have been a little better and more of a Christmas movie since Christmas is in the title. I honestly wish that the movie would have developed the characters more and lasted a little longer. Besides, is anyone really going to complain about seeing Reese a little longer than 90 minutes? I'm certainly not going to.

I thought the movie was rather hilarious. Except for the whole mushy part towards the end, it was entertaining.

Enjoyed it myself... wasn't anything special. But Reese sure did look good.
