    Also! I don't follow holiday trends very will...

    Would I get a much better deal on a computer if I waited until AFTER the holidays? Or is now the time to buy?

        Depends on what you want it for.

        For me, 4GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics card are a must. I also like a nice screen.

        Go to www.techbargains.com. They always have coupon codes (250 off, 30% off, whatever it is at the moment) that will help out.

            Lenovo is a model under IBM. I don't have ANY experience with IBM computers.

                I will check out what you guys posted. I need an inexpensive laptop. Just one for basic usage (emails, chatting, blogs etc). But I do not want it super slow.
