Wow, Ironman better then Dark Knight? I never thought I would hear someone say that but everyone has a different take on it. I personally not only think Dark Knight was better then Ironman but Batman Begins was better then Ironman.

Batman Begins was better then Dark Knight, Iron Man is superior to both. But then again I am more of a marvel guy anyway.Comment

To each his own, I actually hated Ironman and have no desire to ever watch it again, where as Dark Knight and Batman Begins are both movies I can watch over and over.Comment

This isn't to say that TDK or BB are bad movies in any way, shape, or form.Comment

Superman The Movie 1978
The film is EPIC and Christoper Reeves is perfectly cast. Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Ned Betty and the rest of cast is superb (except for Margot Kidder as Lois Lane) also some of the gags are a bit corny and outdated. The special effects are damn good for when it was made. You really can believe a man can fly. Awesome cinematography, and John Williams score is as usual... brilliant. Not a huge fan of the ending, or some story elements but I can live with it. I prefer my hero's to be heroic not brooding psychopaths.

My mini review of Dark Knight - Too long, it bored my 16 year old nephew into walking out of the theater, I also reached the point in hoping it would end and it never seemed to. Never a good sign. Another Batman film which also happens to guest star The Batman, the joker stole the show, just like the first Joker appearance, the suit still looks terrible, hell the suit from the fan made film is superior. That being said it's still a terrific film, there is so much going on they could have (should have) stretched it into 2 films. The direction, action, acting where all good, just did not seem to flow as well as the original. The Batman was really conflicted in this film, not at all like the first and better film. I did not like the ending and the direction this film seemed to take, I am fearful about the next installment.

Re: OS Movie Madness Tourny. Rnd 1. Grp B
I felt like there should have been more scenes with The Joker because Heath Ledger was phenomenal in the role. He was whimsical, scary, funny and unbalanced. The rest of the cast was great as well, but Heath was just on another level. Batman/Bruce's amount of screen-time was adequate - Batman developed nicely over the course of the film and it was nice to see the subtle Bruce characteristics translate into the film as well, but I feel like Bruce is the one that got left behind in the film - perhaps that was intentional to show Bruce himself getting lost in Batman. TDK did a good job of continuing to show Bruce's struggle with balancing his three personas and his burden of wanting to be Batman and wanting to live a truly normal life. Just because Bruce wasn't on the screen doesn't mean his character wasn't being developed. I loved the ending of the film - I thought it was completely justified and fit with everything that had happened previously to that moment. I think the next film will definitely have Bruce/Batman being the focus of the film ala Batman Begins because with the way Nolan left things in TDK, there is going to be a lot of areas to explore with the character and those three personas.
The suit, I thought, worked well in the context of the film. Looking at screenshots of the suit, its not pretty, but in action I thought it looked really good.

Um, how in the world is Close Encounters of the Third Kind a 16 seed? Someone has to explain that to me.
Dark Knight wins this for me though, but it was really close.Comment

The seedings are based on the vote totals from the 3 top 100 OS movies polls.
And Ill save my real argument against DK for a later round. But heres a teaser:
