I love Pulp Fiction, but it's not held up like I thought it would over the years, while To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the best movies of our time.

Pulp Fiction...I'm a sucker for Tarantino.

And call me crazy, but I prefer the novel over the film adaptation for Mockingbird.

Yeah, the book is better, but the movie has one of the best scenes on film. I love the ending when the Minister is talking to Scout.

          "Stand up. Your father's passing!"

          Just an awesome scene.

Mockingbird. Tarantino is one of the more wildly overrated directors of his time.

I never understood the infatuation with Pulp Fiction. There's a few good scenes but overall it's pretty fragmented to me.

Tough one, but I went with Mockingbird, because I loved the book and when I saw the movie, I was still hooked on the book, that I thought it was good.

I've just been voting with no comments (I was going to save it for the later rounds) but i'm SHOCKED and a little perturbed that Pulp Fiction is currently beating out Mockingbird.

It pains me to see a schlocky action flick is beating out a courageous film that took on the issue of racism head on in an era when film studios just don't do that. Gregory Peck gave one of this greatest film performances as Atticus Finch as well in this film.

Agree and disagree. I voted for To Kill A Mockingbird also, but have a much higher regard for Pulp Fiction then you do. That being said it was an easy decision. To Kill A Mockingbird was an inspiring, gutsy movie that showed the best and worst of America in the Depression era, and by it's making the best of America in the 60's. Credit also to the industry for giving Peck the Best Actor Oscar for his incredibly moving performance as Atticus Finch.

I think someone got the seeds confused. Mockingbird should have been the 2 and Pulp Fiction should have been the 15.

I simply cannot believe that anyone would even consider Pulp Fiction on the same level as To Kill a Mockingbird.

                            My thoughts exactly.

Pulp Fiction had to grow on me a bit (appreciated it a lot more the second time around) but To Kill A Mockingbird is an all-time classic with an incredible performance by Peck.

When you're forced to watch a movie in english class your freshmen year in high school and you liked it enough to continue watching it throughout your life, well, that's saying something.

The first time I saw To Kill A Mockingbird was for school, but now I watch it just because I like it. Pulp Fiction I see as a good movie but nowhere near Mockingbird's level.
