Between Hugh Jackman, the inevitable love fest for Obama, and the fact that TDK might sweep the Oscars, I might just miss the Oscars for the first time in 39 years...........

That sucks. The only reason I really watch the Oscars is because they usually have a good comedian hosting it; and I like when they put themselves in clips and what have you...

Probably won't bother watching it this year.

Hugh Jackman.....No, I can't wrap my head around this. The Oscars would be better off being hosted by the corpse of Bob Hope then Hugh Jackman. This has failure written all over it.

Yeah there's a definite difference. The emcee during the Tonys doesn't really get into comedic bits or do monologues. I've seen a bit of the Tonys and it seems the emcee just more or less keeps the show going and maybe sing a song or two.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still watch... it's the Oscars, for cryin' out loud... but that doesn't mean I can't be bitter about who the host is.
