No; it's just kind of nonsense to me. The Spike awards have never really been worth watching.

However, I just tuned in to see what it's doing now - and the UFC stuff is up, so I might watch it a bit until that's done.

Jack Black's intro was pretty funny..

Drake's 2 looks like it's going to be sick. I can't wait for that one. Though I'm a little disappointed with FNR4. Have the fans really been "clamoring" to fight with boxing legends? I'm pretty sure the last few fight nights that I played had plenty of legends. I'd much rather have a decent roster of up to date fighters . But if the gameplay is good I'm in.

Edit: Btw, why no award for sports games? Or did I miss that one?

FNR4 trailer was meh to me, especially with Moore hyping it up.

The Uncharted trailer was real game footage but a lot shorter than I expected. Oh well. Don't want to give away too much. The game looks great.

Have to say the intro to the VGA was kinda crude I hope kids werent watching, as an adult I laughed but was embarrassed at the same time. I laughed at something else Jack Black did at the end but it wasnt that memorable. Weezers song at the end was horrible, although I guess you can purchase that one in Rockband? The jokes throughout the awards are just awful they need some writers, they make the celebs sound stupid and their skits are too long (The Mall Cop vs Skateboarder). I liked Will Wrights speech and thought Mafia II was the coolest looking game.

I wasnt sure how these awards were going to turn out, and sure enough they dissapointed, pretty lame overall with a few decent premieres.

The jokes throughout the awards are just awful they need some writers, they make the celebs sound stupid and their skits are too long (The Mall Cop vs Skateboarder).

I thought the Burress joke was great. Most people there didn't seem to get it,wrong place maybe.
