    Russell Simmons' Pre-Paid "Rush Card"

Since you can't spend more than you have available, what is different between the Rush Card and a check card for your checking acct?

I just saw the advertisment for it and thought it odd.

My guess would be the main difference is when someone gets a hold of your card (online, in person, makes copy, whatever) - they can't drain your bank account; only what's on the card. I never use my check card except for withdrawing cash, and I rarely do that (I always pay by credit). The things are just insecure - if someone can get your info, it's a huge hassle.

Yea, its some BS. On top of that, paypal wouldn't recognize it as well.
