I've seen parts 1 and 2. Overall I would give it a B so far. It's interesting, and kept me tied to my seat, but there are some rather corny parts that make me wonder if that's how it really went down.

I also didn't like how the first installment didn't include some facts about how he came into power, but that's just me and my history buff-ness.

Overall from an entertainment standpoint it does it's job for me, and keeps me entertained for an hour.

I'd say if you are interested in that specific part of history, his leadership abilities, etc., you should check it out.

I've been meaning to catch the last two parts, but I don't have HBO and only time I can catch it is when I'm home for Holidays at Parents house on HBO On Demand.

it glosses over history because it's a docu-drama made around his family. They assume people already know about Saddam's actions, so they made it this way. It was decent to see in parts, but it didn't grab me enough to go out of my way to see it.

It was OK IMO. I wouldn't watch it again.
