    TV screen size 'shrinking'

Interesting. You would think they would build TV's to the specs they promote... guess not.

Go to a home supply store and ask for a 2 by 4, this is the same principle with televisions today.

A 19" screen really being 18.9" is absurdly minuscule to complain about, but once we get to a 32" being 31.5", there are some issues. We really need to start enforcing our false advertising laws.

That's why a lot of times you'll noticed them advertised as 32" class in the weekly ads.

        I have a 47", but it's 46.9", I see the issue though, as I've seen 31.5" TV's listed as 32".

Yeah....a 0.1 difference is one thing, a half an inch is a bit too much. I'm sure this has been going on in the electronics industry since inception...just have to be careful with what you buy.

What does the word "class" signify in "32'' class"?
