I just picked up Oasis' new album Dig Out Your Soul about a week ago and i have to add that to my follow ups, I'm really liking that album. For any of you who have thought that Oasis is dead (I thought Don't Believe the Truth wasn't good at all), give the new album a spin, its good stuff.

I actually liked AC/DC's new album the best. I was kind of expecting it to be kind of half-assed and only so-so like the last two (ballbreaker and stiff upper lip) but it's actually quite decent and has a lot of good songs on it. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but when I get off work it's a nice diversion to listen to on the way home.

There wasn't much that came out in 2008 that really impressed me like there has been in the past couple years. The few bright spots for me were:

Amanda Palmer - Who Killed Amanda Palmer?
The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound
Jack's Mannequin - The Glass Passenger
The Offspring - Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace
Senses Fail - Life Is Not a Waiting Room
            Weezer - The Red Album
Through music, you can live forever...
