Help with a music creator
I was wondering if there s a music creator that I can download for free or buy in the stores that can do multiple things to songs. I have some old rare songs mostly hip hop that the quality is poor. I basically want to raise the volume and clear up the clarity of the songs. I also want to be able to crop songs to.Anyone know where I can find a program like this.Gametag JetsfanSINY79Tags: None -

Re: Help with a music creator
I don't want to to create music really . I just want to take parts of the songs that I want and mix it if possible. I really want to raise the volume on some of the songs. I have an old biggie song that is rare and the quality is poor, so I would like to make it clear. These are things I am looking to do.Gametag JetsfanSINY79Comment

Audacity will be a nice first look. Free and easy to use. I'm not sure if it does the things you're talking about, aside from cutting, though.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment

Audacity is cool, but I cant turn my files into MP3. I basically want to raise the volume on some songs that are too low.Gametag JetsfanSINY79Comment

Re: Help with a music creator
In order to save songs as MP3s with Audacity, you need to download the LAME MP3 encoding DLL. It can be found here.
Put that file, lame_enc.dll, into the Audacity folder (something like "C:\Program Files\Audacity", but will vary if you installed it to a different path). Then, open Audacity, hit Edit -> Preferences, click File Formats, and make sure that in the MP3 Export Setup box that it can find the DLL file you just downloaded.
Hope that helps.Comment
