Because I'm a sucker for 3D, Final Destination 4 3D (dumbest title ever) will probably also be another one I go see.
Those are the 4 on my short list right now (I'm a sucker for the Final Destination movies, they're fun in their own way).

I hate to rip off of Seth and Amy from SNL, but really? Cabin Fever 2? Really? Without Eli Roth? Really? Rider Strong must be hurting for work! I liked the first one, but this just has the feel of horrible sequel.

But with a name like Rider Strong work shouldn't be too hard to find.

Don't forget The People Under the Stairs and Shocker remakes too.

          What's left to butcher?
          Nightmare on Elm Street
          Evil Dead
          Hellraiser
          Fright Night
          Creepshow
          The Thing
          The Shining

Then they'll have to start remaking Scream,Blair Witch,I Know What You Did Last Summer etc.

The Thing was already a remake, I would hate to see a remake of a remake. LOL

There is a Hellraiser remake coming.

I thought The Shocker remake was canned, but just add it to the list.. LOL

People Under The Stairs is getting a remake too? BTW I really enjoy the original

EDIT: Looks like a sequel, not a remake. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1042905/

"Craven has also set up his production company, Midnight Pictures, at the studio, which will develop films with approximate budgets of $15 million. First up for the studio will be remakes of Craven classics THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, SHOCKER and THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS."

Though I guess they might've switched it to a sequel or be doing both.

Another to add to the remake list this year,The Wolf Man. I was wondering why My Bloody Valentine was coming out so far ahead of Valentine's Day and saw that,Friday the 13th and The Wolf Man were all supposed to be out on the same day so they moved it.

On a side note reading the plot, they really, really, really changed My Bloody Valentine from the original.

How many "Saw" movies are they going to make?

The first one was decent, the rest are pretty much nothing special. 6 seems like they're really just milking this dry. I expect that by the time my daughter is 18, she'll be going to Saw XLII.

Well, if you saw Saw II, Saw IV, or Saw V, then you know that all of those needed a sequel. If you saw Saw or Saw III, then you know they could have ended at one of those.

I hope they wrap it up at Saw VI. Anything after that is overkill. Saw IV - Saw VI isn't overkill, but I would have preferred the trilogy by itself. It was a better story, though Saw V is my second favorite (ranked as Saw III, Saw V, Saw, Saw II, Saw IV).

That series was overkill about 4 movies ago.

                          Re: Horror Films 2009

What I'm saying is that there's still more story to tell... more loose ends, since the first movie, to tie up. And no, I don't believe that it could have been done in the past two movies. Saw VI should be able to finish it up, though.

Still, I would have preferred the unanswered questions we had at the end of Saw III. Nevertheless, they are sealing doors (hopefully), and while it does sound bad that "six is fine but anything after is overkill," the series simply couldn't end at Saw II, IV, or V. We'll see about Saw VI, though I would have preferred 1 or 3 (mostly 3).

This is one of the franchises that I wouldn't mind being remade in 20 years, with a similar first movie but going on a different tangent with two sequels only, making a tight trilogy.

Meh, looks like a bunch of uncreative movies that'll cash in.

Hopefully ZombieLand can serve as somewhat of a comedy.

I'm also one of the people that believes no Saw sequels should have been made.
