I totally agree, I thought I was watching the Logo channel last night.
MTV does realize that only around 5-7% of all people in the world are homosexual dont they?
If I was from another country and I was watching this show I would thing everyone in the U.S. was gay!

At least it doesn't seem to be nothing but sex on this one like the past few years... but after the first 3 or so Real Worlds, they have gotten to be horrible (or maybe I was just young and stupid)

I enjoyed it through Boston and Seattle (98 I think was the last decent year)...Then Hawaii and New Orleans just pushed it towards the edge. I watched Hawaii (Ruthie and her alcoholism/being dumb, Teck and all the nudity, etc). After that point it just became drinking/sex, and nothing really decent like it was originally.

That's true. I enjoyed RW 5 Miami (Dan and that one chick Melissa I think getting into it was hilarious. Did you open it you stupid bitch? and the short guy who wanted to do porn) and was 6 Boston? I didn't watch 4 which was London. But the first two New York and LA were my favorites and San Francisco was good too.

Yeah, the first 3 were great, along with Miami. I didn't see London, and Boston was 6. I wonder if part of it is just us getting older sadly. Is this what the young kids want? It's just soooo different from one of the first 6ish seasons to Las Vegas where you get everyone drunk and hooking up.

I haven't watched RW in awhile. I tuned into this one mainly because it was in Brooklyn, and not just Brooklyn, but RED HOOK, Brooklyn. I know the tranny is gonna be the focus of all the drama. The black chick, while cute, I can tell is gonna be annoying.

What's so special about Red Hook? Is that like mini-projects or something?

Red Hook is the name of the neighborhood, and also of the housing projects in the neighborhood... I don't know how it is now, since I haven't been back to NY for almost three years, but when I was coming up, it was VERY grimy. Not the best place in the world. Dudes around BK used to call it "DEAD Hook"... So when I heard that not only was MTV gonna shoot RW in Brooklyn, but in RED HOOK, I laughed out loud. "They tryna get these kids killed?!?" Perhaps there's been some kind of urban renewal there, because none of that stuff last night looked like the Red Hook I knew. Granted, I never spent much time there, only drove through.

This is upsetting. The post is full of ignorance.

                          I don't get how it's o.k. to bash.

It is a fad. Homosexuality is more widespread now than it has ever been. Now that it's accepted as a lifestyle, it seems like more and more gays are coming out. I'm not saying that people don't really have sexual feelings for the same sex, but I think a lot of times it's a learned behavior.
