I will say, the Thudercats intro was great too. It should have made the list.

Thundercats aren't really superheroes though. They're more like adventurers. The TC intro was the FIRST thing that came to mind when I saw this topic though.

Hot damn My favorite cartoon back in the day. The Toys were awesome too. About 7" - 8" tall damn near fully articulate like Japanese figures...and i think they were metal too

I went with Batman. X-Men was good, but it just felt like a roll-call. BATMAN: TAS set a tone for the whole series and the characters, while rolling up the majority of Batman's mythos in 20 seconds. Seriously, that rooftop brawl is just legendary Batman.

X-Men thanks to the theme song. To this day I still catch myself humming it every once in a while.

Anybody remember M.A.S.K.? Technically not super heroes, but their technology made them no different from Batman. LOVE the theme song.
