    Warped Tour 2009

I saw a thread on the 2007 one... but

    Thats 2 years old

    This one looks SO promising.
I went to the 06 and 07 one, but not last years cuz it looked really bad...

    However.
    This year is another story
    A Day to Remember
    A Skylit Drive
    Alexisonfire
    Anti-Flag
    Bad Religion
    Bayside
    Chiodos
    Escape the Fate
    Madina Lake
    Scary Kids Scaring Kids
    Senses Fail
    Silverstein
    Thrice
    Underoath

Those are what I want to see. They have the list out at warpedtour.com

Bad Religion is by far my favorite band, but a Warped Show set will not do them justice, quality-wise or quantity-wise.

An Army buddy of mine drives the tour bus for Family Force 5. He's done it for 2 years now. Getting ready to head to New Zealand and Australia. The music isn't really my favorite, but I enjoy it. I went with them to the Warped Tour here in Minnesota last summer. It was OK. I went to see the band a couple of months later when they played a club called Station 4 a couple of blocks away from my apt in St Paul. The brothers are all very cool. They invited me and my son to go with them to Chicago and watch the House of blues show. We had a lot of fun on the bus. Video games and many practical jokes. I liked the sound and show much better. If they get through here next year I'll check em out again.
      NFL:Packers
      MLB:Reds/Tigers
      NHL:Red Wings
      NCAA:Michigan Wolverines.
      F-1: Ferrari.

It's been a while OS. Hope all are doing well!

          Other notable bands...

          3OH!3
          Flogging Molly
          Forever The Sickest Kids
          Less Than Jake
          Meg & Dia
          Saosin

I guess I was one of the few that went last year... and 3OH!3 put on an awesome show. They had an early set, and definitely set the tone for the rest of the day. Very funny guys with some pretty cool songs. This year, I'm really excited about all of the people listed in the OP and above, but Saosin stands a cut above the rest for me.

I've got to go. I've never been to a show before, yet I absolutely love music. I'm disappointed that Rise Against isn't listed on there, though. But I'd love to see Bayside, Chiodos, Forever the Sickest Kids, Hit the Lights, Saosin, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Silverstein, Streetlight Manifesto, The Atari's, The Maine, There For Tomorrow, and Thrice.
            NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
            NFL - Buffalo Bills
            MLB - Cincinnati Reds

LOL, I'll never forget the first time I saw Scary Kids Scaring Kids. They were for some reason on tour with Fall Out Boy like 6 years ago or more. Hilarious contrast.

                Ugh, Warped Tour...

The only bands I see on the list at warpedtour.com that I would be interested in seeing are Bad Religion and NOFX.

Very early still. More bands will be announced I think. Looks good though, better than last year already. Missing some heavier bands though and a few more headliners.
