Action - Short lived comedy starring Jay Mohr

It is available through Netflix on the Xbox 360. I'd highly recommend finding this show and watching it, it is absolutely hilarious. It was on Fox back in 1999 (although these episodes are unedited) and then moved to FX. How it lasted 13 episodes, while demasculating crap like Everybody Loves Raymond or King of Queens could last for years is a travesty of television.

Apparently,Illeana Douglas still jokes to this day that most of the people that approach her inevitably ignore the body of her work and end up asking her questions like "So, when is 'Action' coming back?"...

Never saw it. But I really enjoy hearing JM call in on the Jim Rome show, he is hilarious IMO. Bonus points to him for referencing topics/people that are being talked about on the JR show that day, not calling in and doing a couple of minutes from a canned set he does in every city.

I think I saw an episode or two of this. The thing is, I don't like Mohr. He has a voice, looks and mannerisms that makes me want to push him out. I believe he played an agent on that show right? So I guess he fit the part.
