    Babylon A.D

Finished watching the movie. It was actually enjoyable. The ideal story was pretty good, it would have been better with a bit more explanation and more scenes.

The concept behind it was probably more than the movie could pull off, most people will no doubt look at it as a decent action flick. However it could have been more.....or more possibly, it could BE more if decide to make a sequel.

Too bad no one's talked about it or hyped it up. For some strange reason, no one seems to like Vin Diesel as a good actor. However when he appears in Fast and Furious, the crowd goes wild. Strange indeed

Well, it's hard to like him for something that he's never become.

I'm not a "*****" of Diesel like a lot of the people that don't like him are, I actually didn't mind Fast and the Furious, Chronicles of Riddick, or Pitch Black...but he isn't a good actor.

Wasn't bad. I heard that the director was pissed because his original cut was far longer and it was watered down drastically

I watched it a few weeks ago on Blu-ray from Netflix. I seriously have no clue what the movie was about or the plot. It was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever wasted my time with.

If I was the director, I'd be pissed my name was even on it, not that stuff was cut out.

I guess one good thing came out of it, Diesel turned down Hitman because of this film, I liked Hitman, with Vinny in it, it would have turned out to be a joke.

Did you watch the ending? I didn't know what was going on, until they explained it at the end, then it all made sense. I had low expectations for the movie, but I actually enjoyed it. Not the best movie, but better than the terrible reviews it got.

Yes this movie was very watered down
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
              Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
              Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

              Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

I also felt it was left wide open at the end, but when this happens it is always because a sequel is coming. I don't know about you guys, but it makes me want to watch the sequel just to see what happens.

Saw a few days ago - not the worst movie I have seen, but it was pretty bad. Vin is really not the greatan actor IMO. He seems to be playing the same person in all of his movies. I think the best film he has done was Saving Private Ryan.
