    Having sync problems with avi to dvd.....

    Using Xilisoft avi to dvd converter.Mouths are moving but the sounds are delayed. Anybody got any idea what in the hell is happening?

    This has happened to me a couple times. Sometimes the delay is VERY noticable. It could be a bad burn on your part. I dunno.

    BTW I use convertxtodvd.

      A lot of times its the source material that is causing the sync issue as Ive had it happen and only once did the material work fine on my laptop but failed miserably when being burned. There are programs out there that will allow you to fix the audio synch prior to burning but in all honesty I dont know what those programs are or the names so a generic google search might help.

      The only things I would consider would be lowering the burn speed as sometimes that can cause problems if its burning too quickly, I burn at 2.4x just to keep everything running smoothly and for the most part it works perfectly. Like SPTO I too am using convertxtodvd and its a solid program you might want to check out.
