    The Last Templar

I have a specific question for anyone that read the book and watched this movie the last couple nights on NBC.

First off, I want to say I thought the movie did no justice to the book and had I not read the book I probably wouldn't have finished watching the movie.

    My question is:

I read the book when it first came out a couple years ago so i may have just totally forgotten this. The final flashback at the end of the movie with the Templar Knights confused me a little bit. I wish I could elaborate more but it is against TOS. I don't ever remember this being in the book as I thought this flashback pretty much contradicted everything the book was about.

For anyone who knows what I am talking about, is this something I just forgot from the book or was it something the writers of the movie arbitrarily included??

This movie was produced in a cheese factory. I watched it with my wife but man it was brutal. My wife was making fun of it the whole time. I really like history and have read alot about the Templars, but man was this bad.

No, but thats not what the Templars were known to be hiding. Read Holy Blood, Holy Grail. Thats a more historical account of what is believed the Templars were protecting.

Didn't Mira Sorvino win an Oscar for supporting actress? Sorry, but the acting in this movie was atrocious. Cheese factory comment was spot on.
