    Transferring Info to New HDD

    • I bought a new xbox 360 with a 60 gig hard drive.
    • I have a 20 gig hdd.
    • I have a Xport 360.
    • I want to transfer everything onto the 60 gig hard drive but i dont know how to do it.

    doesn't the 60 GB hard drive come with it's own transfer cable? or is that only with the 120GB drive?

      Must only be the 120gig one, because i never seen any transfer cable with mine

        I've still got my transfer cable I bought on ebay, been lazy and haven't sold it. PM me if you want it.

          I unno man, i dont have a credit card or anything. I found a thing on the program itself that shows you how to transfer info between HDD so i'll try that and see if it works.

            I tried it and i have no clue how to get it working right.

            How do the transfer cable work? Are they easy to use and understand?

              you plug it in and put the disk in the xbox and follow onscreen instructions

                You really should use a Transfer cable. It's a breeze. Just call MS and ask for one. 1-800-4MY-XBOX. Explain your situation and they should ship you one free of charge.

                And to answer a previous question Transfer Cables only come with 120GB HDDs.

                  that is how you use the transfer cable, also they aren't shipping them much now, its hit or miss

                    Thanks for the help. I phoned xbox and had them send me one of those transfer cables so it should make like that much easier.
