    USB 2.0

Hey, I installed a USB 2.0 PCI card into a desktop last night. I put the pci card in, started my computer, inserted the disk ran everything, it started over, but the box never came up that said click to finish like the manual said.

I checked my drivers and it shows that it's there and it has "enhanced" beside it (although it doesn't say usb 2.0, I read as long as it has enhanced somewhere, its is USB 2.0)

Other then transfering things (which I did with my phone, but I couldn't really tell if it was faster then 1.1) is there another way I can tell its installed correctly? Or should I be good to go?

Sounds to me like you are good to go.

Plug your USB 2.0 drive into it, then run a test such as www.pcpitstop.com . It'll give you cached and uncached transfer rates on the drive. If it's USB1.1, expect something SLOW. If it's USB 2.0, expect numbers close to what the other hard drives in your system get.

Don't expect anything near 480Mbps, though. The PCI interface typically won't run that fast, and neither will most anything else in the box.
