        Hell. ****ing. Yes.

The sheer nostalgia of a Blink reunion would be enough for me to absolutely love whatever CD they put out. Probably my favorite band growing up as a kid so I'd be pumped.
Lol that's exactly how i feel about Blink182. They probably aren't the most talented musicians in the world but they make some great tunes and I absolutely loved them as a teenager.

**** YEAH! I swear dude, they are my generations Beatles. I'm 20 BTW.

So ****ing pumped, really was sure they would never come back. Awesome.

I have never been more exicted about anything in the music industry. Just the fact that Mark & Tom were within five feet of each other tonight is a miracle in itself, let alone the fact that Blink is back. Time for The Urethra Chronicles III!

Oh, and Angels & Airwaves is also putting out an album this year... So apparently Tom isn't completely scrapping that project for Blink. Maybe kind of fishy, but it should be one hell of a creative year for Tom DeLonge.

Underwhelmed...they were sweet when I bought Cheshire Cat on release and discovered punk back when my friends and I were in high school building the genre at our record store. After Dude Ranch things just fell apart, IMO.

Also, did anyone else prefer Scott Raynor?

I have to completely disagree. I thought Enema of the State and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket were better than Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch.

I agree with you. I preferred those 2 over the early stuff. I like "Dammit" and quite a few older songs, but Enema's just awesome!

Yeah - songs like "Dammit," "Carousel," and a few others were good from the older ones, but I thought the next two CDs (Enema and Take Off...) were ten times better.

It may have something to do with the fact that when they came out in 99 and 01, I was in middle school and listened to them throughout freshman and sophomore year of high school so I could definitely relate to a lot of the lyrics of songs like "Reckless Abandon," "Story of a Lonely Guy," "Roller Coaster" from Take Off Your Pants and Jacket and such.

It would be cool if Tom keep both bands going. I am excited just like everyone else that Blink 182 is back, but I really enjoy Angels and Airwaves as well.

That's how I thought of them until their last CD. That album alone changed my entire perspective on them since it wasn't just 15 songs about dick and fart jokes. I'm not gonna compare them to someone like John Lennon or anything, but they definitely took a big step forward on that one.

Here's to hoping they pick back up on that leg!

Of course they'll pick back up on a mature note. The first Angels & Airwaves album was actually written and was intended to be made by blink-182... but Tom had his huge fallout with the other two over the immaturity of their entire musical journey, so to speak. I'm sure the only way Tom would play with Mark and Travis again would be on a more mature note, seeing as how that's the main reason he left in the first place.

I wonder if this has anything to do with what happened to Travis. From what I heard, they basically stopped talking to Tom after he left, but things like being involved in a plane crash have a way of making people get over trivial stuff that they were mad about in the past.
