    POS? The Godfather? Seriously?

    I can understand not getting into the them, thinking there were better mob stories, but calling one of the most classic, iconic, landmark films of all time a POS does not compute.

        I think were talking hyperbole here. I can't imagine anyone thinking Godfather was a POS. I went with Shawshank.............barely. Both movies are in my Top 3 or 4 with The Sting still at #1.

                                                    Tough decision for me, but ultimately Shawshank is a very deserving finalist.

                                                        While they're both great movies, there's just no way I could vote for Shawshank over the Godfather. Godfather and Godfather 2 really can't be beaten. Fun fact, Coppola wrote the original screenplay for Patton, which is one of the few movies I would put up there with the Godfathers. Another little masterpiece is Bram Stoker's Dracula, like the Godfathers it stands up to multiple viewings. When Coppola is on his game, he can't be beaten.
