Kobe, Tony, AI, Ron Ron-all TERRIBLE

However...Rap has gotten so bad and requires so little actual rap skill that I bet Kanye could take those cats in the studio and come out with a hit record these days.

Here is actually a pretty decent attempt with Scott Spezio and his band (very Sevendust-like):

As for poor attempts, look no further...

I can't find The Rock's video, so instead I'll post from the album "B-Balls Best Kept Secret." Who can forget Cedric Ceballos's classic line, "I got ends, and you can't haaaave none." from Flow On.

            <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0cIAOgl8yHg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0cIAOgl8yHg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

and this gem featuring my man Dana Barros:
            <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LbqAlN7P6IA&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LbqAlN7P6IA&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I won't front though, I copped that album.
            PS: You guys are great.

You can add Roy Jones and Chris Webber to the list.

Not really. Radio rap is horrible but what plays on the radio doesn't represent the music of any genre.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I haven't heard Chris Webber rap but he's a good producer.

I'm just talking about radio rap, which is why I said he'd come out with a "hit" and not an awesome "mix tape". Look at what I wrote. Obviously I'm not talking about Royce, Papoose and Asher Roth, haha.

I disagree on Roy Jones. "Can't Be Touched" was a very good song.

I'm tempted to add Clint Dempsey to this list, but "Don't Tread On This" was at least decent.
