How do I Eliminate MS Outlook Express?

    Ok, long story short.

I was away from the computer for over an hour. We have Windows XP and MS Outlook as our main mail account.

I noticed a message box on the computer and it stated I didn't have Outlook Express as our main internet account and did I want to keep it as the main account. Well, like a dummy, I hit yes because I thought we were losing our main email account, MS Outlook.

After importing all folders, Outlook Express is now the primary email account. Once I click on the start menu, Express comes up instead of Outlook.

How do I delete Express and keep Outlook as the primary email account.

    The browser is Firefox.

    Thank you for the help.

I do notice when I click on Tools Accounts-Mail- in Express, it is empty. The All tab has Active Directory, Bigfoot Internet, VeriSign Internet, and WhoWhere Internet. These categories are also found under Directory Service Tab.

    Thanks again.

    Try this

Click on "Tools" and then "Options
    Click on "Applications"
    Scroll down to "Mailto"
To the right of that there should be a drop down box where you can select which email program you want to use
