Re: 90's Nickelodeon Thread!!!!!
I was able to go to Universal Studios back in 1994 or so, so I stopped and visited the Nickelodeon studios. They had a little game show thing happening where people got slimed, I think it was just part of the tour though. That's all I remember from it really hah... Universal had a big Nick side of the park back then around the studio area, I'm sure that's all gone now.
And yeah, Summer Sanders! Forgot about her. I was in love.
"Are you afraid of the dark was corny for the most part, but occasionally they would air this legitimately scary episode that was way more advanced than what a 11 year old should be watching."
Hah, I remember being scared ****less by one of them... it was probably that one. I can't remember the details though.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: 90's Nickelodeon Thread!!!!!
God, Nick was the ****. What do they have the kids watching now? I didn't even know Nick was gone (or is it)?
Salute Your Shorts was crazy. Zeke the Plumber! I thought that was from Are You Afraid of the Dark? but a quick Wiki search says otherwise. The one line I remember from that is... "Roasted, toasted, and burnt to a crisp." I use it from time to time. hahaha
I'd be down to watch these shows again. I'm sure I'd understand some things that I didn't back then.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Haha, I did the same thing (thought Zeke the Plumber was from AYAD).
I forgot all about "Hey Dude". I caught the tail end of "You Can't Do That On Television", but never really liked that show much.
"Aaaah! Real Monsters" was a cool show too.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: 90's Nickelodeon Thread!!!!!
"What Would You Do?" is the other show with Marc Summers with the big eye and the wall of doors with crappy all the prizes inside.
I always loved it when they did something hard or embarassing and ended up with that same Nickelodeon duffle bag that everyone seemed to get. That was probably my favorite of the game shows they had.
PIE CHAIR!! Epic. Forgot all about that.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

By the 90's I think Hey Dude was the only show I still watched. I loved Nickelodeon in the 80's however.GT: Herkyalert
