Yes this is a thread about the show Scooby Doo, so if you hate the mystery van and the teenagers that ride it, i would suggestion you not read any longer 
Back to the topic at hand, several years ago Scooby Doo on Zombie island came out. I was blown away. It the rebirth of Scooby and the gang and it did a fantastic job. Not only was it Scooby with new up to date animations, the actually movie was good. Probably a bit scary for a 5-8 year old child, but it was superb.
They later released Scooby Doo and the Witch's ghost. Another good one, maybe not as good as Zombie island, but it was still very enjoyable and still aimed at a older crowd than the average 8 year old.
The next movie in the line up was Scooby Doo and the Invaders, this one was very toned down compared to the previous two. It was still a fun ride and somewhat interesting, however it had nothing on Zombie Island and The Witch's Ghost.
Then they completely fell off and released crap like Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, Legend of the Vampire, The Loch Ness Monster etc. Those later movies were completely childish. I know in general Scooby is aimed at the younger crowd, but the first two movies were so good in taking in the younger kids and a older audience.
I would really love to see them go back to something like Zombie Island
Not only that, it had some pretty good songs:
