    HDTV Question

I am buying a new TV I want 120hz. My other Sony has 1080p, but I want the 120. So here is my question which TV is better or are they the same? Thanks

Just to piggy back on this since it was mentioned above, what exactly does 120hz do that makes it that much better? Im sure there is something Im just unaware of. I saw a TV awhile back at a Circuit City that had incredible 3D dimensions to it, is this because of the 120hz or am I completely in left field on that? If anyone wants to explain to me what makes it so important to so many it would be much appreciated.

120hz refers to the refresh rate,or how many times per second the panel "redraws" the images on screen.
When there is a lot of action on screen, like sports or video games,a 120hz refresh rate virtually eliminates motion blur.
To clear up some common confusion, the refresh rate is inbuilt and separate from any "Motionflow/Cinemotion" type processing.
It is also considered a benefit when film based content (24fps) can be displayed on a panel with a refresh rate directly divisible by 24,like 120hz.
This removes the need for the panel to create extra frames or do any other processing to display the content, resulting in smoother more natural movement.

My thoughts exactly. Use that extra $600 somewhere else. Heck, buy a 32" LCD for the bathroom with it. This way you can bring The Show with your PS3 and play while dropping a deuce. I'm just thinking outside the box Scott.

I already have that set up. But serious you think I should go with the cheaper one? It really is not that much difference? I like the XBR, but the other sets look nice too. Big decision. lol I have been searching and everybody seems to like both sets. Maybe I will go into Bestbuy and check them out.

Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.

Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.
