Action Comics #1 up for bid

Only 100 copies in existence, in "fine condition" it has gone for 126K but could gather 10x that amount.

Even in fine condition i'm guessing its going to get 750,000 easy, maybe hit a mil if someone is desperate and wants it bad enough.

Wow the fact someone could spend that much on a comic book in these times is just a disgusting show of human greed and selfishness.

        No it isn't.

Just because some people are having cashflow problems doesn't mean other people should stop spending. In fact, if everyone with money stopped spending, "these times" would look like the golden age.

Says the guy with a billboard sized signature featuring his name!!

It's all relative. If a guy makes $8,000,000 a year and buys this for 200K, that's 2.5% of his income.

If a guy makes 40,000, 2.5% of his income is $1,000....... easily spent on some form of entertainment during the year: cable, ciggies, porn, his hobby, whatever.

The object is not penalize or get the guy who's making 8M to give it away. The object is to get those of us making 40K to somehow work toward making 8M.

The guy started the bidding at $1. That's confidence.

Wow that's pretty cool, I knew John Dolmayan was a big comic book fan, he even has his own online comic book shop type thing.
