I think most people who post on these boards will have an hdtv as they are gaming enthusiasts. If they are spending a thousand dollars every couple years for next gen machines and games, they are in decent enough position to have at least one hdtv.

2 HDTVs, but only one has analog outs for surround sound on regular tv. Using a digital converter box to get surround sound through my Onkyo receiver.

We have a lot of good polls around here, I'm just not sure what this one is going to prove or do for anyone.

LOL.... you're a good sport! You gave me a good idea though..... I have a defunct DTV dish still strapped to my house. I'm thinking of "hooking up" a pair of rabbit ears to my new hi-def and when people come over, try to sell it as that the rabbit ears and the dish are somehow communicating, bringing me this brilliant picture!

I have a standard definition in my room. It sucks... I'm pretty sure one of the light bulbs broke in it a few years back, ever since i've had a really crappy picture due to me adjusting my levels to try and compensate for the darker picture.

I technically only own an SDTV, but my TV upstairs that I play Xbox 360 on is capable of 480p (I believe that is normally referred to as Enhanced Definition?), so it looks better for my gaming.

At least my lame poll has served some purpose. I wasn't factoring in all the high def gamers on this board. I'm surprised a couple of more standard "defers" popped up in the last hour.

                    2 hdtvs. 1 720p and the other full 1080p.

1080p here. Just upgraded from SDTV in December and I love it.
