I think most people who post on these boards will have an hdtv as they are gaming enthusiasts. If they are spending a thousand dollars every couple years for next gen machines and games, they are in decent enough position to have at least one hdtv.My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie Hi -

2 HDTVs, but only one has analog outs for surround sound on regular tv. Using a digital converter box to get surround sound through my Onkyo receiver.Comment

LOL.... you're a good sport! You gave me a good idea though..... I have a defunct DTV dish still strapped to my house. I'm thinking of "hooking up" a pair of rabbit ears to my new hi-def and when people come over, try to sell it as that the rabbit ears and the dish are somehow communicating, bringing me this brilliant picture!Comment

I have a standard definition in my room. It sucks... I'm pretty sure one of the light bulbs broke in it a few years back, ever since i've had a really crappy picture due to me adjusting my levels to try and compensate for the darker picture.http://flotn.blogspot.com

I technically only own an SDTV, but my TV upstairs that I play Xbox 360 on is capable of 480p (I believe that is normally referred to as Enhanced Definition?), so it looks better for my gaming.Comment

1 1080p tv in my room that I bought in October.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
