    Good Audio Editor For PC?

    Hey everyone.

I'm trying to find a good audio editor for my PC.

I've downloaded Audacity but it every song I import seems to play speeded up when I play it in Audacity?

Does anyone either know a way to fix this, or another similar program?

    Thanks

Cool Edit Pro or Adobe Audition (basically the same program...Cool Edit is older) will do anything you could ever need an audio editor to do.

There's also Goldwave - it's an old program (new version's available) but very easy to use. Certainly not a professional tool but it gets the basic actions done.
        My Specs:

        ZX Spectrum
        CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
        GPU: Monochrome display
        RAM: 48 KB
        OS: Sinclair BASIC
