Well....Looks like I didn't miss much. I'll try to watch some of it tonight.

I don't like Fallon at all so I don't think i'll give this guy much of a chance.

I used to like Craig Kilborn's late night show... the one that Craig Ferguson hosts now. What ever happened to Kilborn?

Remember - Conan was lousy at first too and was almost taken off the air as a result.

That said, Fallon can't hold Conan's jock when it comes to humor and Fallon is working with the rather severe handicap of being a total douche. I hate the way he's always laughing at his own jokes with that nervous laugh of his. Very irritating.

Didn't know this was coming on already. I thought he wasn't going to start doing shows until Leno and Conan moved to the new time slots.

That opening monologue was pretty rough... standard late night jokes with no originality, and he didn't get many laughs. The "Slow Jam the News" segment was the only thing I enjoyed, mostly because of Black Thought. That "Lick It For $10" was a huge waste of time. Maybe he'll get it together, but he doesn't have that natural humor and personality like Conan does... better guests won't save him for long.

What this guy said. Amen to the string dance. Oh and "Jingle All the Way!"

To be fair about DeNiro, he is a notoriously awful interview. Anyway, once Conan moves into Leno's spot it will be tougher for Jimmy to get good guests.

Not really. Other than Letterman, Fallon is the only other talk show in NY. When stars come through NY, they will come on Jimmy's show if they cant book Letterman. Conan is the one who is screwed since they gave Leno a 10 pm show based out of LA.

I didn't think it was that bad. He did seem nervous, but wouldn't you be too?

For his first show it wasn't bad at all.

He looked nervous for sure, but the show looks promising. I think I'll come back and watch it in a couple months, hopefully it'll have hit its groove by then.

I don't understand the hype about Fallon. Maybe he has some dirt on some top ranking NBC executive. Seriously, though I don't find the guy funny. The same way I don't find Chris Rock funny.

I got to about 7 minutes in when he started singing. That was about all I could take of that.

Mentioning Jimmy Fallon in the same breath as Chris Rock should be punishable by a fine.

Why? I'm sorry I don't find either guy remotely funny.
