Re: Public Enemies
The movie was actually filmed in various spots around central Wisconsin last summer. My sister ran up to the set a few days and actually snuck in pretty close to the action. They were in Madison, WI, for a couple scenes, and did most of the town scenes in Columbus, WI...a town about an hour from where I live. They also shot some scenes at Mirror Lake which is about 10 minutes from my house.
I know it doesn't seem like much to most, but in south-central rural Wisconsin, we don't get "real" movie stars all that often around here.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

Yeah my roommate was actually on the Wisco crew, and I did some work here in Chicago on this...It was amazing how they transformed Lincoln Ave and the Biograph Theatre back to their glorious forms. The movie was actually filmed in various spots around central Wisconsin last summer. They probably had faux facades for a good quarter mile of Lincoln Ave and one of the prop guys gave me a piece of the Biograph's theatre fake bricks.Comment
