Oh yes, you can record to your pc, laptop or hook up an external HDD to it and record straight to it

It can do multiple PC's at once

Not sure about that. Its all tied into your home network

Best you could do is have someone watch whats on your tv remotely but they'd need some kind of access code to your network

Its more of a sling competitor probably with a few more special features that make it attractive.

You can even record video's and put them on itunes and DL on your iphone or ipod... how sweet is that

To stream your games, you can use any capture device, but what you need is a software app that turns your desktop view into a webcam, typically called a virtual webcam. There are several software packages out there, some free.

I have the wireless Titanium. Works great and you can hook it up to almost anything. Installing was a breeze. My only gripe is that it takes a long time to switch channels (3-5 seconds before you get the results of your button press). Currently have it hooked up to my parents DirecTV HD satellite box and Sony blu ray player.

It's not HD quality although it can accept HD signals. DVD quality is what you should expect. It has component and S-video inputs--no HDMI.
Bought a $90 1 TB external hard drive for recording movies and boxing matches. It's great for watching stuff on your laptop, especially when another family member is using/hogging the tv.

The only limit to how many users can be on at once is your network's bandwith.

WD is good though, even if they are more of the expensive ones. The one I have is a Seagate which is also a top of the line along with WD, Buffalo, etc...

There are a few places you could look though like fry's, ecost.com if you look around you can find some nice deals.

Got it. Its great to have if one doesnt have any kind of dvr or whatnot.

Ive only used it to make a couple of game clips. I was going to put one in here for you to see but the transfer over to a hosting site like youtube killed the quality...duh

im still not totally sure what my man on mattplays.com did
