Canibus is raw hip hop. His style is the essence of a lost art. Rappers come a dime a dozen. MCs are almost extinct and most have lost their way.
What world do you live in?

"everybody claim theyre the best and the head of the the throne, since BIG is gone if you ask me theyre dead wrong."

That's all that needs to be said. Hands down, the best.

Damn shame. Not the greatest of all time, but no doubt a legend.

The second best rapper of all time behind Nas IMO. And Biggie > 2Pac by a looooooong shot.

And I hope that person who mentioned Eazy-E was being sarcastic.

It's probably the most slept on album of the classic mid 90's NYC hip-hop era. It's brilliant and IMO one of the five best albums to come out between '93-'95.

I might have to get that one. Been trying to cop most hip hop albums from 93-95. I started my freshmen year of college back in 94 so I got exposed to alot of stuff I never heard on the radio.

"The greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th" is a line from the Canibus song "2nd round KO"....its a line frequently used today by a handful of artists....

While I personally think hes the GOAT, I didnt really make the thread to dispute it...I just made it cause the anniversary of his death is coming up.....just a tribute...
                          I feel you man.
