    I won the drawing at work

    We had a drawing at work for going 1 year w/o a lost time accident and the Grand Prize was a 42" Plasma TV. And like the title says I won it.. Couldn't believe it, i was going to take it back and get like a 32" and keep the cash, but I got it set up and Wow... It's very nice I bought a HDMI cord (i think that's what it was) suppose to help with the HD, i can tell a difference with it when i play madden, which by the way i think i'm actually playing better on a big screen, may sound weird...

    Just wondering if anyone has one, it's a Visio, and if you do does your's get hot? Mine has gotten hot, hotter than i think it should anyway.. It's mainly getting hot at the top of the tv, in the back and on the screen. Is it suppose too? No if I only had internet at my house(at mom and dad's now) I'd be playin online on a big screen tv ..

          The plasmas run hotter than my other tv's DLP LCD. LCD is the coolest Temp wise. My plasma doesn't have a fan (LG) and if it does I don't hear it. Check the menu and options to see if it has a setting for power or brightness. Its doesnt cool that much more but it still drops the temp down a little on the low settings.

              Congrats. Plasmas run hotter and use more energy. If it's a concern, set your tv temperature to cool....once you adjust your settings your eyes will get used to it.
