    Problem with Tritton headphones....Help???

Grrrrr, I can't seem to get my new AXPro headphones to work on my 360 at all. No sound whatsoever and I've verified that my optical cable is working as I get sound when switching it over to my surround sound system. These headphones, as well as a previous pair of Tritton AX360's is not outputting any sound at all from the 360.

Also on the PS3, I can only hear the XMB clicking sound as I'm moving around the menu. I can also hear the preview sound of the game disk that I have in my PS3 while on the XMB. But once the game starts to load, the sound goes bye bye.

I'd be quick to say that they are faulty, but as mentioned I'm getting the exact same problem with the AX360's and they do produce some sounds on the PS3

The manual for both says that they are optimized for use on the 360 and the PS3.............so WTF gives??

Does anybody have a pair of Trittons that may have experienced this problem??? Any advice on how to fix it??

    PROBLEM SOLVED

Had to turn off the DTX sound option on my PS3, all games have sound now.

As far as the 360 is concerned, apparently the HDMI dongle I was using is not sending a strong enough signal to the Tritton headset controller unit. Once I hooked my 360 up via the component video cable (no HDMI) the sound now works through the Tritton headset. Guess I'll have to look for a new HDMI dongle and see if it works any better with a different one.
